Guest Reviews
We traveled to Montana in August and had the most wonderful stay at The Lodge at Trout Creek. Every attention to detail was given. Our suite, our breakfast and the genuine love and care for us as guests, we weren't guests, we were family. Randy and Julie are the most giving and attentive hosts you could ever ask for. We will be back.

There could not be a more relaxing, clean, and beautiful place to stay! Furthermore, the owners and hosts, Randy and Julie (and their lovely daughter, while home from college) are top-notch people: good-hearted, kind, generous, caring, respectful, and very hardworking. They strive to keep their guests happy, providing whatever the guests need for a comfortable stay. Furthermore, Julie is a fabulous cook!! The grounds and views are stunning and everything is clean and well-maintained. The Lodge at Trout Creek is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and “live in the moment” (which was my goal for the trip!). I cannot say enough wonderful things about the lodge and Randy and Julie. Highly recommended!!!

Every other review has hit the nail on the head. Randy and Julie make their place seem so homey and warm for everyone. Their breakfasts are different every day and are fantastic. What has not been mentioned is the big community kitchen downstairs that is fully equipped with EVERYTHING so that as a guest you can bring your own food and prepare your lunch and/or dinner and eat, including the wonderful ambience, if you are so inclined. If possible, stay for a minimum of three nights so you get to know Randy and Julie, as well as explore the local area - or just veg out and relax. Dick & Linda, WA

Thank you to Randy and Julie for hosting us on the 4th of July. They are exceptional hosts, with an outstanding lodge for your ideal overnight. The setting is nothing less than gorgeous, and your blood pressure drops the minute you pull up to the lodge. We knew immediately that we would be back to this special place. Randy and Julie are present, but not "in your face." They are wonderful cooks and provide a hearty breakfast. We loved watching the stars from the Eagle's Rest tower. It was a night to remember!

My husband and I spent four totally wonderful nights in the deluxe Trail Boss Suite. We were needing some relief and relaxation from a string of bad luck we had been experiencing, and found the perfect location for that at the Lodge at Trout Creek. From the amazing architecture and craftsmanship of the lodge, complete cleanness (also known as Julie clean), many extras as well as extra attention, tasty, tasty breakfasts, peacefulness, and beautiful location, to the ideal hosts. Needless to say, we had a good, good time!! Thank you Julie and Randy - we hope to be back. Jack & Judy

The WOW factor commences with this paradise's presentation against a most magnificent setting! Then, as you step just inside the majestic entry of this Lodge, you are instantly embraced by comforting and gracious hospitality. The Lodge is impeccable and extraordinarily well-appointed to even the most discerning guests. We highly recommend the Trail Boss suite for its luxe, including a gas fireplace. During our most comfortable two-night stay, we were welcomed by a herd of elk and a neighboring flock of wild turkeys. A heron, perched at tree-top, joined us as we relished the panoramic view and savored a great cup of coffee on the Lodge's expansive deck. Don't forget to bring your star-gazing phone app for a dazzling show that a clear, crisp night sky offers. Julie's homemade, mouth-watering breakfasts are generous enough to satiate any appetite. Because we were celebrating a birthday during this adventure, Julie thoughtfully and artfully created a birthday cake including candles. Retreating to a Mountain Paradise for rejuvenation can't get any better than this!
